Payroll Specialist

Accountants One has been hired by a growing company to recruit a Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for approximately 100 employees across three states under a PEO (TriNet). This role is strictly contract for now, with potential for process improvements and optimization. This is a hybrid role in the Buckhead area that will pay hourly. The candidate can expect to make $70,000 - $75,000 annually. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees.
• Manually transfer hours and sales data from Zenoti to TriNet.
• Ensure payroll accuracy across multiple states while leveraging TriNet for tax compliance.
• Assist with HR onboarding, including new hire paperwork and system setup.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations.
• Work closely with the Controller and receive training from CFO as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience processing payroll, especially in a PEO environment (TriNet preferred).
• Familiarity with hourly and commission-based payroll structures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multi-state payroll.
• Ability to work hybrid, with some in-office presence in the Buckhead area.
• Experience over degree—seeking someone who can hit the ground running.
