Finance and Accounting Senior

Accountants One is working with a manufacturing company looking for their next Finance and Accounting Senior (newly created position) professional with experience working in manufacturing. The company is adding on this new role and this individual will report into the Finance Manager. This is a 100% in office role.

The Finance and Accounting Senior will handle the following:

• Involved in the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, etc.
• Assist with planning and budgeting monitor actuals against budget using information systems tool to help with data
• Ensure standard costing and actual costing on monthly basis and timely input to sales team for product pricing along with keeping track of business transactions based on accounting standards
• Work with Auditors and tax professionals to assist with compliance
• Maintain working capital- overseeing inventory within budget levels along with checks and balances on the inventory
• Insurance coverage for inventory ,  credit control- risk of payment, review insurance policies and ensure timely renewal
• Any special projects- such as process improvements, implementation of new software systems etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 6+ years of experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is a must
• CPA or CMA or MBA a plus
• SAP is a must
• Advanced Excel
• Inventory and Cost experience highly preferred
• Must be able to work 5 days in the office
• Preference for candidates with sustained tenure in past positions
