A growing company is seeking a Senior AR/Collections Analyst to support its employee benefits business. This role is responsible for analyzing and preparing accounts receivable estimates, driving collection efforts, and assisting with month-end close tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing large data sets and have experience using pivot tables and lookups in Excel.

Top 3 Objectives:

1. Analyze large data sets
2. Get the cash through the door/professional collections
3. Verify account information – communicate with carrier to ask where revenue was posted, look in portal

• Reconcile payment and billing dates by reviewing commission history for 30 broker locations across the country.
• Identify and resolve billing challenges to ensure timely and accurate collections.
• Audit books of business to confirm all cases receive proper commission payments.
• Track revenue by documenting payment cycles, billing cycles, and error reports.
• Handle inquiries from acquisitions, partnerships, and internal advisors.
• Run and analyze administrative reports and debits and credits for inconsistencies to understand what that impacts.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to internal departments.
• Responsible for revenue number that goes to P&L.
• Explain revenue adjustments to manager.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Work independently.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office D365 preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial role.
• Work 8-9 hour days and 10-11 hours during 3 day close.
