Accountants One hired to help a long-standing Atlanta company hire a corporate Accounting Manager. This is a great time to join the organization as they focus on process improvement and automation opportunities in all aspects of their accounting and finance group.

The successful candidate is a CPA with both public accounting and corporate accounting experience and experience managing staff. The successful candidate views change as a good thing. This role has high visibility to senior and executive management, there is a great chance to make an impact and be rewarded for it.

Experience with inventory and supply chain management is highly preferred.

Job Duties:

Lead accounting staff through month-end close, journal entries and producing financial statements
Balance sheet reconciliations
Work with outside auditors and tax consultants
Special projects for the Assistant Controller and Controller around process improvement, automating of processes and long-term planning
Work closely with internal supply chain management to improve inventory management

Job Requirements:

Accounting Degree and CPA are required
Prefer two years of public accounting experience
Supervisory / Management experience required
Inventory and Supply Chain experience preferred
Multi-location or retail industry experience preferred
