CFO

Accountants One has been hired by a repeat client to help them hire an operational CFO.  This is a manufacturing and distribution company considered a leader in their industry.  They have a fantastic story of growth over their 75 years of being in business. 

This role will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role as part of the executive management team.  The organization is experiencing significant growth, they are not stagnant and coasting.  They offer a very stable and collaborative work environment.  The number of employees that have been with them for 20+ and even 30+ years speaks volumes about the culture of the organization. 

The successful candidate will not only be a strong accountant, but will also have proven accomplishments on the operations and overall financial health of an organization.  The successful candidate will enjoy learning the business and "walking the floor" in manufacturing environments.  The role covers financial analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, data analysis, KPI / Dashboard reporting, profitability analysis and the ability to utilize technology across the board that improve revenue and profit margins. 

This CFO role will supervise a staff of six processing A/P, A/R, Payroll, and general accounting. The successful candidate will possess an authentic leadership style and a personality that shows a natural confidence.  This role requires someone that understands it is the attitude and personality that will earn the respect of the team, not the title.  A very comfortable and effective communication style is required as this role touches just about every department in the company. 
Manufacturing and distribution industry experience highly preferred.  A mix of public accounting and corporate accounting preferred. 

Experience with ERP system implementation and the ability to show an organization how to utilize the new technology is highly desired.
