Accountants One is working closely with a Manufacturing company looking to expand their team. They are looking to hire a Senior Inventory Cost Accountant. This position will report to the Director of Accounting. This company is located in the Huntsville, AL area and is fully in-office. This is a newly created role with fantastic benefits and culture!

Senior Inventory Cost Accountant Responsibilities:
- Perform month end close relating to inventories, cost of sales and department expenses
- Make sure cost and financial data is accurate
- Profit margin, labor spending variance, and purchase price analysis
- Balance sheet account and inventory reconciliations
- Product cost analysis
- Assist with financial budgeting
- Track key metrics for operations
- Assist with project updating system software and processes
- Bachelors in accounting, finance, or business
- Manufacturing cost accounting experience
- Detail oriented
- Dynamic thinker
