Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Duluth, GA  100% In Office $65K-$75K

Accountants One is excited to partner with a thriving company in Duluth, GA, that needs a Staff Accountant. This role is open due to company growth and offers an opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting skills and experience working with ERP systems.

Job Duties:

• Prepare account reconciliations for various Balance Sheet and Income Statement General Ledger accounts
• Record and report all aspects of the accounting journals – including A/P, Payroll, Cash Receipts
• Ensure compliance with internal company policies and controls
• Review and analyze financial statements – comparing the plan to actual and recommending appropriate actions for management as needed
• Work closely with team members in delivering Accounting and Finance information to help drive logical operational and sales decisions
• Assist with other tasks of the Finance and Accounting Department as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum three years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Proficient in matching debits and credits, journal entries, utilizing chart of accounts and GL
• Experience with Sage 100, Sage Intact, MAS 90, or NetSuite highly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
