Accounting Manager

Accountants One is currently recruiting an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic team in Vinings, GA. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the accounting department and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, leadership capabilities, and a passion for process improvement. This is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including:

  • Month-end and year-end close processes

  • Accounts payable and receivable

  • Cash receipts and disbursements

  • General ledger maintenance

  • Cash flow forecasting

  • Variance analysis on revenue and expenditures

  • Check runs and payment processing

  • Fixed asset and debt management

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Implement and uphold sound accounting policies, practices, and internal controls

• Lead the coordination and completion of annual audits

• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems and procedures

• Supervise and delegate tasks to ensure team compliance and accuracy

• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records

• Support the achievement of financial and operational goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA designation strongly preferred

• 7–10+ years of experience in a financial leadership role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft CRM and Workday preferred

• Prior experience in insurance brokerage operations is a plus

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• High level of integrity and discretion

• Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced and evolving environment
