Staff Accountant

Norcross, GA – Temp to Hire - $28/hour - $33/hour – In-Office

Accountants One has been hired by a SaaS company to recruit a Staff Accountant to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with GAAP and understand Cash vs Accrual accounting.

Duties:

• Prepare internal and external sales commission calculations
• Help process accounts payable and receivable and follow up on overdue payments
• Reconcile accounts to general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and report on the company’s fixed assets including proper tracking and depreciation schedules

• Obtain monthly bank statements and verify that all transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) are accurately recorded
• Respond to customer questions regarding billing, product information and order status
• Help with interim and annual financial statement audits and support process
• Provide ad hoc reporting as needed
• Collaborate with other departments like sales to integrate financial processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of experience
• Experience working in a fast paced environment hitting deadlines and staying organized
• Prioritize and manage multiple report requests with tight deadlines
• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with team and customers
• Epicor software preferred, Concur a plus
