Responsibilities:
- Complex audit reviews and SOX projects
- Evaluation of business-wide risk, identifying opportunities to enhance process effectiveness and improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls
- Work closely with Executive Management and other company personnel
- Discuss and resolve internal control and documentation issues
- Summarizes audit findings
- Performs follow-up audit
- Initiates and identifies process improvements
- Prepares short and long-term objectives for career development track.
- Promotes and fosters an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of progressive IT audit experience to include at least 3 of those years within public accounting.
- Undergraduate degree in related field (MIS, etc)
- Technical ability to perform at the senior level
- Experience with general controls/SAS 70 reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley sections 302 and 404 required
- General knowledge of and Institute of Internal Auditors' International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
- Experience in applying COBIT Framework or Enterprise Risk Management Framework required
- Knowledge of all elements of internal controls to include financial and EDP controls.
- Strong written/verbal communication and organization skills
