Accountants One is thrilled to have Joe Reinkemeyer speak at the Choose Your Life! Part Two: Managing Career Choices CPE on October 26.
Joe Reinkemeyer is a retired PwC Tax Partner and Part Time Instructor at Georgia State University. Joe retired from PricewaterhouseCooper LLP in 2014. During his time at PwC he maintained various staff level positions. Joe provided tax consulting and compliance services to private and public companies in multiple industries including manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, technology and financial institutions. He also provided income tax provision services to private and public companies, delivered federal, state and international tax planning services as well as mergers and acquisitions planning and led the growth of the tax section of the Atlanta Private Company Services group to double in revenues between 2001 and 2007. Joe provided coaching and mentoring to staff throughout the years. He designed and instructed various courses within the firm for staff development. Joe also held various leadership positions including, Southeast Tax Technology Leader and Private Company Services Tax Leader for Atlanta office.
Joe Reinkemeyer currently works as the Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University. Joe taught Partnership Taxation for one semester in 1997, Taught Accounting Principles II in 2012, and is currently teaching Accounting for Income Taxes and Intro to Income Taxes.
Joe Reinkeymeyer graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA, Accounting, 1981 and MTX, 1987.
Joe is the Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Georgia and is also involved in classroom instruction teaching and development.
Joe is highly involved in various aspects of the Georgia State University community. He is a part of the GSU Foundation, GSU Athletic Association, GSU Panther Athletic Club, and the GSU Alumni Association.
